Quick and Easy: Sheer Khurma (Seviyan/Vermicelli Pudding)
Hello to all my wonderful viewers, welcome back to my blog! In this edition, I'm going to teach you how to make Sheer-Khurma/Vermicelli Pudding. It is a creamy and flavourful Vermicelli Pudding. In Persian, "Sheer" means milk, and "Khurma" means dates. Sheer Khurma is a special dish made during Ramadan and/or on the celebration of Eid ul Fitr. But you can enjoy this dish anytime of the year. INGREDIENTS: 1 Cup Vermicelli (roasted) 1 1/2 L Milk 1/4 Cup Ghee 5-6 Green Cardamom Seeds (crushed) 1 inch Cinnamon 300 mL Condensed Milk 1/3 Cup Badam Mix 2 Pinches of Saffron 1/4 Cup Almonds (skinless and chopped) 1/4 Cup Cashew (roasted) SEASONING: 1 tbsb Ghee Almonds FLAVOURING: 1/2 tbsb Kewra water 1/2 tbsb Rose water Serve it hot or cold.
